Energy efficiency and BACS compliance
Carrefour, the world leader in mass distribution, wanted to equip its French hypermarket fleet with a decarbonization solution to improve energy efficiency, significantly reduce its carbon footprint, ensure efficient centralized technical management of its buildings and comply with the requirements of BACS decree.
The challenge: deploy a solution on a large number of sites in a very short time, while adapting to systems Existing control systems varied and heterogeneous.
Carrefour also wanted to centralize all of its building data on a single platform in order to exploit them effectively to optimize the energy consumption at the park level, improve the predictive maintenance equipment and facilitate the integration of data with its existing internal systems.
Rapid deployment of a connected and multi-site BMS
Sensinov deployed its technical building management platform (BMS) on 220 Carrefour sites, covering a total surface area of more than 2 million m² In only 16 months.
The solution includesNational hypervision, remote control of equipment (lighting, HVAC, food refrigeration), real-time monitoring of energy drifts, and simplified access to more than 480 users divided between the France Department, the regions and the local technical managers, thus allowing Carrefour to effectively meet the requirements of the BACS decree.
Thanks to its ability to interface with diversified existing systems, the Sensinov platform has succeeded in integrating quickly and effectively the equipment already present on site, thus centralizing the data and allowing their optimal exploitation for improved management of the real estate stock.
Energy reduction, compliance and team satisfaction
- Significant reduction in energy consumption: up to -48% on controlled equipment
- Simplified and effective implementation of a national energy policy
- Significant reduction in technical incidents to manage
- Training and skills development for internal teams on energy issues
- Successful compliance with the BACS decree
- Seamless interfacing with existing internal systems for integrated data use
The results are impressive: from the first sites equipped by Sensinov, we observed an average reduction in energy consumption of 15 to 20%. This is significant and is fully in line with our overall decarbonization strategy. The partnership with Sensinov is strategic because their platform provides exactly the innovation needed, with a simplified interface accessible to all.
The energy hypervision put in place is a first step towards even greater centralized management, opening up great prospects for the future digitalization of our points of sale.
