Unreliable BMS, lack of hypervision and lack of global management
B&M, a discount store chain based in France, already had a BMS in most of its stores. However, the system in place offered control limited to a few points, unreliable data, and no global vision at the park level.
In addition to this lack of supervision, the collaboration with the historic BMS actor had generated a loss of trust. B&M was therefore looking for a modern, more responsive alternative that would allow to structure a national energy policy consistent and achieve significant energy savings.
Multi-site energy hypervision, smart alerts and QR codes for local management
Sensinov was selected following a test site in Roques, which made it possible to demonstrate a reduction in consumption of 20%. Sensinov's approach — proactive, transparent and technical — convinced the central teams.
The deployed solution includes:
- One centralized hypervision platform to manage the entire fleet
- Of automatic alerts sent to store teams in case of energy drift
- Of QR codes installed in stores to allow field teams to control certain equipment locally (lighting, temperature, etc.)
- A follow-up of the actions carried out and the effects observed
- The valorization of the project via a EEC subsidy
Reliable management, local autonomy and measured savings
- Setting up a global energy management and structured at the park level
- Better data reliability and return of trust on the operational side
- Energy consumption savings from the pilot site (-20%)
- Ease of use thanks to QR codes for non-technical teams
- Increased responsiveness with alerts sent directly to stores
- Financial valuation of the project via EECs subsidized
